In Recognition of World Sight Day, Lighthouse Guild Receives Donation from Bausch Foundation to Support Computer Training for People with Vision Loss
NEW YORK (Oct. 8, 2020) – Lighthouse Guild has received a $10,000 gift from Bausch Foundationto purchase new computers to train people with vision loss for work, school and daily living. The computers will be used at Lighthouse Guild’s Assistive Technology Training Center in Manhattan.
Assistive technology includes devices, software or equipment that helps people work around their challenges to learn, communicate and function. The Assistive Technology Training Center at Lighthouse Guild is specifically designed for people with vision loss.
